One of the things I was most excited about before going to Hawaii was being able to sit on the beach and read. Well, Sunday came along and fulfilled all of my 'relaxing on the beach' dreams. We attended church in Waialua first thing in the morning. It was so fun to attend their ward. They were super laid back and I loved how when they said "Aloha" everyone in the congregation said it back to them. I just really love the Hawaiian culture. Everyone is so kind and so welcoming.
But I digress. Sunday was relaxing and just what I needed. Vacations are supposed to be relaxing but when you go with my family, we go nonstop. So having one day to take it easy was awesome. We literally hung out on the beach all day long. Until the rain came, like it always does on the North Shore, and we were forced inside. We then took a drive to see the Lai'e Temple. So beautiful. We finished off the night with a little hot tubbing in the rain and a game of Phase 10. See below for the silly picture below that we all had a good laugh about. It looks like Preston has a hairy boob. LOL Oh the illusions that my hair can create. :)
