Dinner & Dominoes!

So much has been happening lately! To make a long story short, Preston and I have moved to Charlotte, North Carolina for the summer to try our hand at summer sales. And when I say "we" on the summer sales thing, I really mean just him. Let's face it-I am totally NOT cut out for the the whole door-to-door thing. (Pictures will be coming soon)

Anyways, before I can even begin to talk about that adventure I have a little bit of catching up to do! The week before we left for North Carolina was PACKED with so many fun things and I feel the need to catch up on all of those little things. This blog is really our little family journal so it helps me keep track of things that go on in our life. Just before we left we had Jerry and Sarah Ward over to our house for dinner. Sarah is my cousin, was my roommate at BYU for our first three years until we both got married, and has been the best friend/cousin I could ever ask for. Well, Jerry and Sarah are moving to Northern California this summer so Jerry can finish school up there and we are moving to the East Coast so we had our little last hoorah before we all go our separate ways. Preston cooked up some delicious burgers (that were, no joke, like 2 1/2 inches thick!!!), Sarah brought some yummy pasta salads and a lemon cream pie that was TO DIE FOR! 

We love getting together with Sarah and Jerry because they always have a new game to teach us! This time it was Dominoes! For some reason or another I have never played dominoes. Call me crazy, but its the truth!! I loved it! It is definitely my new game of choice! 

We got a little crazy after playing so many rounds as you can see by the looks on our faces - slightly Asian eyes and throwing out peace signs (and an "ok" sign in my case). We always have so much fun with these guys. We usually laugh way more than we talk which is definitely a good thing in my opinion. We sure will miss not having them around anymore! But now we will have an excuse to visit Northern California more often!!! Love you guys!
